An Appeal

BRING LIGHT IN THE LIFE OF BLIND GIRLS

Brajkishore Netraheen Balika Vidyalaya is a non-profit residential school located in Ranchi, Jharkhand offering free educational and vocational training to blind girls. The school has been in operation since the last 31 years and is administered through a Registered Trust named Bajkishore public educational society. Most of the students belong to the tribal community in Jharkhand and come from low income families.

Facilities to alleviate the suffering of the blind are very few in number. Schools catering to blind girls are even fewer. This school aims to give these unfortunate girls a little hope for the future.

Brajkishore Netraheen Balika Vidyalaya needs all the support and encouragement in this endeavour which opens various avenues of life for blind girls. You can help us reach our goal and donate for any of the following activities of your choice -

  • Sponsorship of blind girls’ education at Rs. 1,500/- per month per child which takes care of their normal school education and living expenses like food, dress, books, etc.
  • Sponsorship of computer training for the girls at Rs. 5,000/- per child per year
  • Sponsorship of tuition programme for senior students appearing in Class X and Plus-2 of NIOS at Rs. 7,500/- per child per year
  • General donation to the School towards operation of the Training Centre for computer proficiency and employability training
